  1. Prepare 1 cup Milk
  2. Provide 1 tsp vinegar, white, apple or lemon juice
  3. Take 2 cup All-Purpose Flour (you could also use whole wheat flour for part of the 2 cups)
  4. Provide 4 tsp Baking Powder
  5. Provide 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  6. Get 1/2 tsp Salt
  7. Provide 1/3 cup Oil
Instructions to make Buttermilk Biscuits:
  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. Combine milk and vinegar. Stir. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, put in all dry ingredients. Stir with a wisk.
  4. Make a well in the center and pour in milk and oil. Stir to combine.
  5. Sprinkle a teaspoon of flour over dough and gently knead or fold the dough with spoon. Repeat once or twice until dough is much less sticky.
  6. Prepare a cookie sheet with Pam or Parchment Paper. Drop dough onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8 - 9 minutes.
  8. Option: You can also add shredded cheddar cheese. Add the cheese to dough at end. Fold in. Drop on a cookie sheet and put a pinch of cheese on top.
