The ingredients needed to make Beignet:
- You need 2 tsp yeast
- Take 1/2 cup warm water
- Use 1/2 cup white sugar (or less)
- Use 1/2 tsp salt
- Use 1 egg
- You need 1/2 cup milk

- Take 2 tbsp butter

- Allow to rest for an hour. Then once it's doubled in size, punch the dough, and place on flour surface. Roll flat and cut into square shape. Allow to rest for about 30 minutes.
