- Take 500 grams Roe (i used sardine)
- Take 4 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder (can be substituted with 3 tsp paprika and 1 tsp cayenne pepper)
- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Provide 1 1/2 tsp salt (you can add as per your taste)
- Get 1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- Take 1 few curry leaves
- Provide 1/2 tsp garam masala(optional)
- Prepare 2 tbsp Oil to fry

- Mix the Roe with kashmiri chilly powder , turmeric powder, salt and garam masala (dont add pepper) and let it stay for 5 min
- Heat oil in a frying pan and add curry leaves. Then add roe and fry on low flame for 15 min. Then add pepper powder. Stir occassionally and fry both sides till its crunchy
- Towards the end garnish with cillantro or mint leaves (optional) and serve
