- Take 500 g chicken wings or drumlettes (approx 10pcs)
- Use Marinade for 1 hour:
- Use 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- Take 1 1/2 tablespoons light soy
- Provide 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- Prepare Dash white pepper, grounded
- Prepare 1 piece ginger, about the size of your thumb, shredded finely
- Get 6-8 cloves garlic, peeled and lightly smashed
- Prepare 1/4 cup sesame oil
- Use 1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce
- Take 1 1/2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
- Provide 1 cup water
- Provide Dash white pepper, grounded

Instructions to make Sesame Oil Chicken:
- Marinade the chicken with the ingredients evenly mixed for approximately 1 hour. If you do not have time, you can skip the marination step and add the marinade sauces directly to the sauces.
- Heat up a deep frying pan with the sesame oil and add the garlic and shredded ginger. The oil will start bubbling, stir fry till very fragrant for around 2-3mins.
- Add the chicken all at once together with the marinade sauce. Stir to combine and add the soy sauces and the pepper. You may add the mushrooms in this step.
- Add the water. You can either place everything into a slow cooker and cook on low temp for about 6 hours, or cover up the pan and continue to allow the chicken to simmer till the chicken is thoroughly cooked and the sauce has thickened.
