- You need boiled water

- First assemble all your ingredients,especially the ingredients you will use in making the Rojo.
- First,soak your chicken pieces on a bowl with maziwa mala and salt, place it in the fridge for 3 to 4 hrs.
- Clean your tomatoes, cut into pieces and blend them to get a tomatoe puree, set it aside.
- Here now, clean and cut into pieces the ginger, garlic, dhania and hoho mix them together and blend them until its a puree form, set it aside also.
- Cut your onions, and place them on a sufuria, add cooking oil, cook until they are golden brown, drain your oil and save it for another purpose.
- Once,you done with the draining of oil, let your onions heat up, add your blended puree of hoho, ginger, garlic and let it heat up a little bit, for 3 to 5 minutes, then add your tomato puree and tomate paste mix all together and let it heat up.
- Add your chicken that you had soaked in maziwa mala and salt, mix everything together, cover it and let it heat up.
- For the rice, do it as a normal rice boil it once done,add food colour (i used yellow food colour),mix the rice and the food colour, al together.
