  1. Prepare poblano peppers
  2. Provide salt
  3. You need water
  4. Prepare lean ground beef
  5. Provide long grain white rice
  6. Get chopped white onion
  7. Take fine chopped garlic
  8. Take chicken broth
  9. Take plain tomato sauce
  10. Prepare cilanto stems w/leaves
Steps to make Stuffed Poblano Peppers:
  1. Preheat oven 350
  2. Bring 4 quarts of water and salt to boil.
  3. Clean poblano peppers and slit each pepper down center (not all the way through).
  4. Remove the seeds.
  5. Place peppers in a large stock pot and pour boiling water over the peppers.
  6. Cover and let stand for 15 mins.
  7. In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.
  8. Add half of the chopped onion and rice.
  9. Saute for 5 minutes or until rice browns.
  10. Add garlic and saute for another minute.
  11. Slolwly stir in broth and tomato sauce.
  12. Add cilantro.

  19. Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish cut side up.
